Dear Prospective Elizabeth Seton Academy Student,
We are pleased that you are interested in attending Elizabeth Seton Academy (ESA). In our Admissions packet, you will find more information about ESA and the admissions process.
Who we are
Elizabeth Seton Academy is a dynamic, four-year all-women’s college preparatory high school. Our teachings are rooted in the Gospel and the Catholic faith. We are conveniently located in the former St. Gregory’s High School building on Dorchester Avenue in the Lower Mills section of Dorchester.
Admissions process
In order to apply for September 2008, you will need to complete the enclosed Application with essay and Records Release Form. Please return these forms to the Elizabeth Seton Academy Admissions Office, 2220 Dorchester Avenue , Dorchester , MA 02124 by December 31, 2007 .
High School Placement Test
All prospective ESA students must take the high school placement test for admission to Catholic high schools. The High School Placement Test will be administered on November 18th and December 9th. You can register to take the placement test at ESA during the month of October. The cost of the test is $25.00, payable at the time of registration.
Application review process
Once we have reviewed your application and your transcript, you will receive a letter in the mail notifying you of your status. Letters were mailed January 31, 2008 .
Upon acceptance—What you will receive from us
With your acceptance letter, you will receive a request for a $200.00 non-refundable deposit to hold your seat and to be officially registered. Once we receive your deposit and registration fee, you will receive the following:

Information regarding the tuition payment process and financial aid (tuition for 2006-2007 is $4,950.00). Tuition for 2008-2009 will be set in the spring of 2008.
